Just as the title suggests, I need a source for a complete body (mainly the rear) for a 1985 5.0. Its for my little sister's car, which has some rusting wheel wells. Thanks.

You dont want a fiberglass body for a street stang plus I dont think they even make one for the body!They make noses, doors,hoods and hatches .I've never heard of anyone doing such a thing but to each his own I guess

Actually, I do want a full fiberglass body for this street stang. I live in Michigan, and the salt they put on the roads here in the winter eats cars for a snack.

You can want one, but that does'nt mean it's a good idea. Even IF a company made one, the Stang is a uni-body car, that means the entire rear potion and roof is part of the frame. You cannot just unbolt the body and bolt a new on, you would need to build a whole new tube frame with a roll cage and body reinforcments, then because fiberglass parts tend to be race only parts you would need to figure out how to put all the interior parts in. So to do all this just because you live in Mich. would be a waist, if the car is that rusty just get rid of it and start over. The fiberglass parts you see for sale for stangs are really not made for the street, they are light weight and will crack over time, are brittle and provide no protection in a crash. So in short, you don't want a fiberglass body for your street car.

plus fiberglass tends to warp over time and the doors dont shut right and the body lines are crap.My friend has a complete fiberglass nose on his stang and it took weeks of sanding and filling to make it look alright.I dont think anyone even makes a fiberglass body for a stang it would be dangerous as hell and like JD said it needs a ton of tubes for support.I think you gonna be way over your head on this one!I've never even seen a body in fiberglass for a street stang

Man, I hate forums where people don't give you an answer to your question, instead they give their $0.02. If I wanted opinions on whether I should, I would have asked that.

OK here is your answer. They only make race weight full bodies and it will NOT bolt to your sisters car. BTW ever hear of google?
