ive had the 9500i and the Valentine 1 and I kept the V1 its superior by far not only sensitivity but the arrows are pricelss letting you know where to look. 9500i doesnt let u know where to look. The V1 is also the only radar detector with a seperate rear receiver and the only one with the arrows. V1 ftw by far. Oh yea I forgot to mention that the V1 is always upgradeable so when new technology comes out you send ur current V1 in and for a small fee they upgrade it. Much better than buying a completely new radar detector IMO.

^^^ +1000 on Valentine 1, I had an Escort Passport with the detector cord (you don't want a radar with batteries only because when the power in the batt. starts to diminish so will the pick up on the radar) I paid $399 for directly from the manufacturer's website. It was most definitely #2 radar, but V1 is several times better. A couple of my friends had them and they have a couple key features that make em much nicer. They have directional arrows, 360 degree protection as well as the concealable feature which is nice in VA where it is not legal...and they are #1 in all of the tests done by multiple study's. Spend the extra $100 and get the V1 you will NOT regret it I promise!

false radar detection devices are stupid,
why? well it isent gonna pick up any damm radar signal if the cop doesnt have his gun shooting away the only moment u gonna detect it if someone a bit ahead of you is being aimed at with it most cops now a days dont shoot the speed gun unless they see your actually going fast
