Default If I get a V6 Stang, and want to do a V8 swap...

I was thinking about getting a V6 stang probably a New Edge (99-04) and what do so a GT/V8 swap...what exactly does that entale? Other then the motor its self what else will I need to swap out? Will I need to exchange the tranny (if its auto, or if its stick)? I may get a FOX, or an SN95 too so advice on all of those would help also.

Just buy the car you want. The swap will cost you FAR more than the price of a GT the first time. Do a quick search in the V6 section, and you'll see the same thing.

Just get a GT, the 2000's have gotten pretty cheap lately. (around 10 K or less)

Why was your old car seized by the police?

Yeah I already had a GT and although it was a quick little puppy....I realized that it would cost me at least 5-8k in motor mods to get it to run high 12's in the 1/4...I really don't want a new edge gt...I've done quite some reading about "mini terminators" or the m112 v6's and have gotten quite intrigued. Because of the cheap cost of a V6 for a total of 10k it seems like I could have a quick 1/4 mile as well as a DD that 10k is including the price of the car of course. I don't know how to PM but lil Roush if your reading this I have a few questions for you. I read the sticky already. What will the car do in a 1/4, if I do the m112 on a completely stock motor, and do the basics like headers, aftermarket cobra intake and exhaust...and tune of course? And the HP or RWHP...just estimates are fine.
