Default Has anyone done this engine swap in a foxbody stang?

So now that I have been educated on the fox my cogwheels are turning and Im formulating ideas of what I want to build. Brings me to this question, Has anyone on this forum or know of someone else on another forum done a 3v swap in to a fox body? Like the 5.4 L 3v or the 4.6l 3v.

I saw this ( link below) and thought to myself of how cheap I can get a 3v engine for next to nothing 5.4 or 4.6 so Im wondering has anyone else done it and what problems they ran in to while doing it.

Check it

Someone has put just about any motor you can think of in a fox body. I've seen 4.6, 5.4, even chevy engines.... run a search on google for whichever motor you wanna swap in and you should come across enough posts. Also a few companies make engine swap kits for stuff like that. Search them up so you can figure it into your costs. I dont know exactly what swap you want but your talking computer controlled engines with the 4.6's and 5.4's so get ready for that pain the a... Or at least the costs associated with tuning, etc...

yea exactly Im trying to find more posts on google but im not getting much luck was hoping someone here has done it that could tell me what else would be involved in the swap. Seems pretty straight forward but in my experience engine swaps re never straightorward. lol

IMO it wouldnt be worth it.

if youre going to put a modular in a fox it should be a 4V.

can you elaborate on what you mean? I mean the 5.4 triton engine is pretty sweet and there are many 4.6-5.0 3 valves thats lay down some good numbers as well and the price difference between a 5.4 3v and 5.4 4v is quite significant 10G> and about the same for the 4.6 3v.
