I just wanted to pass along my experience regarding the SCT chip.
I have a 2002 Mustang GT...

I purchased the SCT Mustang 4-Bank Eliminator Chip from americanmuscle and had it pre-tuned for performance and economy. I basically had to get the whole thing re-programmed after discovering the performance tune was knocking my engine. (shake a spray paint can sound) It was actually discovered that the economy tune was running faster then the performance tune.

if you get the chip, It is strongly suggested to get it from a certified SCT dealer. (Sctflash.com). You will spend the same amount on the product but for a little extra they run it on a dyno and properly tune it for you. Plus, install is a bitch if you dont like getting down and dirty on your weekend.

if you get the chip (and it does kick ***) get a cold air intake too...

p.s this isnt a bash on americanmuscle.. allthough I do think they kinda suck, but a headsup on getting the chip from someone that can give you the attention you need while programming it.
