Default location of oil sending unit

noob here first what a great site you guys have here lot of helpfull info, ok for my question i have a 2000 mustang gt mostly factory i'am wanting to install oil,temp,and voltage gagues (i hate the factory gauges) well i'am not a mech at all (the older motors was not that hard to find) but where is the oil sending unit and the temp connection on this thing 4.6 and how hard or easy for a install i have the gauges mounted now ready for the connections thanks guy or ladies

Your Oil Pressure/Oil Temp gauge should have come with a sending unit calibrated for that gauge. I've installed them above the oil filter. There is a plug there that you can remove and then using a swivel 90 degree adapter with an o-ring and a reducer the unit can be installed.
