Default 01' Cobra of 04' GT?

In the market for a new vehicle and have decided on a mustang since i've always wanted one. I would love to get an 03-04 cobra but i'm afraid they're out of my price range($10k). Do you guys think i should get a 2001 cobra or a 2004 GT? Older cobra or newer GT? Once i get one i have plans to eventually fully mod it. I'd like to purchase one with around 50k miles and have seen both for around $10k. Which should i get?

So you guys would all take the 01' over the 04'? This is going to be my DD, and i guess i'll just feel kinda bad putting so many miles on a cobra, although i am finishing up college and do not drive much, but i will have to drive it in the winter months here in ohio. Does the 01' cobra still perform above the 04 GT as far as suspension and handling?

Cobra's have IRS in back, so yes. They're better than the GT suspension wise.

Haha @ this question. General tech anyone?

4v > 2v man, and it has IRS. Can't believe you're asking this.
