I am looking at a saleen for a track car, it has been about 10 years since I was in the mustang scene, but a buddy of mine used to have an 88 vert, and a 91 scc. I can't remember, but I thought the coupes came with
1. the production number on the front bumper
2. the interior door panels had embroidering in it.
3. a full roll cage in the back

I know there are a lot of fakes out there, and I am trying to be sure. The dealer sent me pics, but I can't see these things I am looking for. I has interior plates that say saleen. The other give away is that it has a different rear end in it.
can some one please help me here? the car is like 500 miles from me.

thanks guys, I guess it is real. I am looking at a fox body. I just thought that all of them had the numbers on the bumpers, and the interior had logos sticjed in the door panels, nut I guess there are mnay combos to get. Thanks for the pics!

yes I got it yesterday, it is a real saleen, but the car has no real value now, it has a 99 rearend in it, and 99 wheels around it, and brakes, an aftermarket roll bar., different carpet, and door panels. Just a track car now.
