Default Required tools?

If I am looking to buy a complete toolkit to be used on my mustang what should be included to ensure that I need to borrow as few tools as possible?

Thanks!

you don't say how much you're willing to spend nor your skill level so I'll assume you don't want to spend a lot but you're willing to get yourself a nice set without going broke and you have average skills. my recommendation would be to get yourself a Craftsman 169 piece tool set. that set will get you through 90% of the jobs. any specialty tool like torque wrenches, buy when you have the need. why Craftsman? because they're relatively cheap and have the lifetime guarantee. it's a fair compromise of quality vs. cost

like anything else, others will have differing opinions. and of course, you didn't specify your parameters, so this is what I would do. HTH
