The Saleen Xenon Thread.

RE: The Saleen Xenon Thread.
Well, I finally got them installed. I was going to do it myself, but just didn't want the headache of taking my front end apart. I took it to my Ford dealer and had them install the lights while they replaced my gas tank and brake fluid reservoir. And, you guessed it, they bent me over, threw in some sand, sawdust and pine tree bark and let me have it good to a cost of $320!!
It supposedly took them 4 hours to do @ $80/hr. Mine was the first one they ever did it on. I guess I paid the price of being the guinea pig. I got a ton of complements on them before I even drove it out of the service bay! The good news is that they function. I was worried for a while. One wierd anamoly, IMO, is that they make the car have a bug-eyed, insane look because of the raised "lip" around the light. Gotta get used to that.
Next up, I'm going to attempt to install my Start Button today. Wish me luck!

RE: The Saleen Xenon Thread.
Hi, if anyone else needs the wiring harness(Polk Thug), i called Saleen today and ordered mine. They are selling it again but at a higher price (80 plus shipping ) . My kit was originally 524 shipped so everything came to 600 more or less. I will install them as soon as the harness arrives and take a couple of pics. Thanks to Delurker, GT Premi and Polk Thug for helping out and pointing me in the right direction. Now all they have to do is Work when i install em [sm=bounceybounce.gif]

RE: The Saleen Xenon Thread.
Finally got mine hooked up today (just got my car a few weeks ago). I just used zip ties to hold the ballasts in place, then bolted a ground wire to the metal casing of the driver's side ballast. Pretty simple install. I'll post pics after I get the rest of the car done.
