Back in November, I had a professional install the 14" super stripe from BSM on the hood of my '08 Mustang GT. The super stripe had the cut out for the OEM hood scoop, but the cut out was slightly smaller than the scoop. I decided to have the installer loosen the scoop and put the stripe under the scoop.

Now, 4 months later, the stripe is starting to wrinkle around the corners of the scoop (where it is pressing down on it).

Is it is possible to remove the hood stripe? It has only been on for about 4 months. If so, what is the recommended procedure for removing them?

dont over heat it, or itll melt, too little heat, and it will tear into small pieces
