did some searching but just havent found quite what i was looking for.
i can get the 4.10 gears for 150
and the shop said they will install it for 175
is that a good price for the install?

i need to get the stuff to install it though.
what exactly do i need (02 GT)
how much gear fluid
do i need friction modifier? etc. i need to include everything

2 quarts of gear lube.. takes like 3.8 pints or something like that, friction modifier would be a good idea

and buy a ratech master install kit from summit

the rear end was just rebuilt so will i still need to get the install kit? with a brand new rear end?

bump getting the stuff next weekend the guy had a huge list of stuff i needed but i thought just the install kit and fluid was fine

yeah i know they said with everything i need to get itd prolly be around 225-250

Yes you will need a basic install kit, you will most likely need different shim combinations then your last setup. So I would get a gear, Install kit, Oil and Additive. That should take care of you. Let me know if we can help you out.

IF THE CAR HAS OVER 60k MILES, I SUGGEST THAT YOU GET THE KIT THAT INCLUDES THE AXLE SHAFT BEARINGS AND AXLE SHAFT SEALS. YOU HAVE TO REMOVE THEM ANYWAY WHEN CHANGING OUT GEARS, SO YOU MIGHT AS WELL REPLACE THEM WITH NEW ONES. 8.8" FRPP RING & PINION INSTALL KIT M-4210-C, 3 BOTTLES OF 75W-140 SYNTHEIC GEAR OIL, 4 OZ BOTTLE OF FRICTION MODIFIER, AND BLUE NUT THREAD LOCK.
