96-98 cowl panel? where can I find one?
Well... here comes somethign to laugh at...
I got my 97 with some wax baked onto the trim. and I could seem to get it out of the little grit on the panel inbetween the windshield and the hood (apparently called a cowl panel). so my dumb self tried using acitone (yes... paint remover) on it lightly to just get it out quick and easy. Well, darwin won again and I pushed too hard, and turns out it's painted... atleast from what I can tell anyway... so it's pretty much ruined, so now I really need to find out where I can get another one at... any help with this would be great... I tried google and ebay and all, but can't seem to find one anywhere...

ok... so yeah 180 dollars is a bit much.... so how do you guys think it would look with gloss black mirrors and that cowl panel? I was thinking I might clear coat them and the wiper arms too... opinions/suggestions welcome...

ha.. I cracked mine a few months ago while leaning on it waxing the fender. I was at meijer a few days ago and happened to notice another one with a crack in the exact same spot; I almost wanted to leave him a note saying thats what you get for waxing your car in 20 degree weather.

I think the mirrors painted body color look great, for the cowl panel it depends on the color and leave the wiper arms alone.
