You might wanna slap a straight edge up on the hubs to make sure they're straight. If the hubs get warped and it warped the bearing housing in them, you could toast your bearings and spindles.

replaced the studs and bent the one brake/disc guard back and everythings okay now.

i keep a 4way in my truck now and check the lugnuts everyday. im picking up some locking lugnuts as well.

I never trust 4 ways. I always use a torque wrench for the piece of mind.

locking lug nuts just use a different socket so idk what thats going to benefit you as far as them falling off.

the only thing youd be able to do is get nuts with teflon on the end to hold it in place but thats not really recommended for the application.



also using the 4 way to tighten them you still need to watch out. now you could be putting more then the 104 ft-lb of torgue and you could case more stress and break the stud again

hook your battery up to the lug nuts, youll find out if someones touchin them hahaha

Did you ever re-torque the lugs since you put the new axle in? My buddy forgot to re-torque his lugs after putting new wheels on his camaro and one flew off, I re-torqued the lugs on my car after getting new wheels on and after just a day or two they went from 100 lb-ft to 70 lb-ft.

that could have happened but the one that fell off wasnt on the axle i changed.

someone could have done it as well.

its all fixed now so im happy and have a 4way in the trunk and getting locking lugnuts
