Hey guys,

I want to get a 3/4" socket wrench for my lugnuts on my wheels, but I want to get one with a coating so it will not rub the chrome off the lug nuts. Can someone tell me where to get this at.

im sure sears has something similar to what you are looking for.

dont really think there is such a thing.

if the socket rubs the chrome off them something else is the issue. chrome plating is pretty hard and shouldnt just scratch off.

get a 6 point socket and make sure its the right size and youll be ok,

you sure its 3/4" and not 19mm?

they arent something youll be taking off every day.

yah, im pretty sure the standard for wheel lug nuts is 19mm.

there are 4 stanmdard size's.
19mm
21mm
3/4inch
and I forget what the 4th size was, Like above mention no such thing as a coated socket. If the chrome is chiping off than you are not using a snug fitting socket or a cheap socket from K-mart that is worn out. Or you have a cheap set of lug nuts.
There are a few other Odd size's but are not considered standard Like Landrover has Larger nuts.
