Seeking input on price of Performance 302
Ive been looking for a motor i would like a 302 but i was just wondering if this would be a good deal. It alot cheaper then a fresh motor and is still pretty new.. Thanks for the input Heres the detail:
I have a complete rebuilt 302 up for sale. The motor and trans have approximately 500 miles on them. The motor is complete minus the carb and acessories (alternator, PS pump, brackets). The distributor is a stock unit that was converted to electronic igniton by way of a Crane Cams XR-i kit which includes an adjustable rev-limiter. Here's the specs on everything.
93 roller 5.0 block .020 over.
Balanced rotating assembly with ARP rod bolts.
Sealed Power hyperutectic pistons.
Cloyes double roller timing chain.
CompCams XE262H hydraulic cam (351W firing order).
Trickflow Twisted Wedge aluminum heads with Ford Motorsport 1.6 roller rockers.
Trickflow pushrods.
Edelbrock Performer RPM intake manifold.
8.8:1 compression ratio so it can easily run on pump gas.
Ford Motorsport valve covers and air cleaner.
I also have a C4 that was rebuilt, a B&M shift kit added, and has around a 2200 stall converter. It snaps through the gears pretty good.
I want $2000 for the motor, or $2500 for the motor and tranny. still in car here it run.
