If you could do it all over again.. V6, V8?

I will continue you buy V6 Mustangs from now on.
I've owned plenty of V8 Mustangs, and they all lacked power for the added money.
The V6 responds just as well to mods (if not better in some cases), lower cost to buy/build/keep up.
Buying a V8 is a waste of money.

I got a V6 because it made more sense economically for the husband and I. I got a steal on my car and I could of had a GT for about 2k more. I didn't have that at the time though, and it was my first car. I love my sixxer I mean it is still fast and alot of fun. Only problem though is that when I hear a v8 growl it makes me shiver, the v6 introduced me to my love of Mustangs but next time around it will have to be an v8. One day I will own a 67 fastback...

I owned a V6 Satin Silver Pony Package 2006 for a year before trading up to a V8. There is nothing wrong with a V6. Really is just as nice as the V8 looks/ride wise. The V8 growl and extra power is so fun though I must admit. I get many more "looks" at my dark candy apple red GT/CS than the silver V6. For the money though, V6 is the way to go. We pay a big premium to go V8 then a unbelievable premium to go GT500 or KR. We all might have to go V6 in the future because of the mpg requirements by 2016.
As long as Ford keeps the good looks of the 05-current Mustangs I don't care. Just don't F@ck up the Mustang's looks like they did for so many years.

Well they are both nice cars, but if you want to go fast your just blowing smoke with a v6... and even a modular v8 for that matter. But all things considered performance, fun, cost, v6 and v8's are good, your best bet is to buy a v6 and swap a built v8.

for me is v8 all the way.now if you just like the looks of the mustang then a v6 will be the more economical way to own one and it will leave you with more money to mod.if you like the looks and the go fast then get the gt.
by the way 28k for a 2008 is way to much money.thats what they were going for in 2008
