Question BREAK IN PERIOD FOR 4.10 GEARS

INSTALLED FRPP 4.10 GEARS APPROX. 500 MILES AGO ON MY 06 GT. I READ THAT THE GEAR OIL NEEDS TO BE CHANGED WITHIN THE FIRST 5000 MILE BREAK IN PERIOD. IS THIS TRUE? ALSO, THESE ARE THE NEW CUT GEARS AND THEY SEEM TO BE MORE QUITE THAN THE FACTORY INSTALLED GEARS. I AM REALLY HAPPY WITH THEM. PURCHASED FROM ROUSH/YATES PERFORMANCE IN MOORESVILLE, NC FOR $135.00. THE BEST DEAL OUT THERE.

I'd dump the oil. Refill and lay the beatings to it.

No, there is no break in period. Only a period you shouldn't romp on it to hard in an effort to prevent major damage if the installer did an F'dd up job. Differential fluid is a lifetime fluid, it only needs to be changed every 100k or so (just because it makes you feel better)
