Will Console Lid From 2001 Fit 1995?

I just want to know if the armrest lid from a 2001 stang will fit my 1995?Thanks

Yes, although I like the 95's better because they have a magnet instead of a latch. I swapped a 99+ console into my 95 and I'm getting ready to change the lid back out with my old one.

Can't I just swap the pad and keep the magnet latch?
