03-04 cobra wheels?
 

I was wondering if anyone on this forum has this setup. A set of 03 or 04 cobra wheels with 17x9 in front and 17x10.5 in back. If so do they look like they are knock offs or do they look like the real wheel. The problem is that the only one that i have found in 17x10.5 is aftermarket... just wanted to know if they look like the real thing. Also i was wanting to lower my car 2" and i was wondering if they 315 tire would fit with that drop... thanx

I currently dont have this setup, but it is the one i plan on purchasing later this summer.
The 10.5's you re talking about, when you say taht they look like knock offs, do you mena that the rim itself looks different, because i may know what you are talking about just from looking at pics.. its almost like there are two different kinds of the same wheel, that are NEARLY the exact same, other than a slight shadow difference inside the spokes...however htis could be from the picture aangle, but i dougbt it

and i konw a 315-335 will fit, but im not sure about after the car is dropped

by the way, where is the cheapest place you have found a set of (2) 17/10.5's and (2) 17/9's?

They look exactly like factory, except the centercaps, which are replaceable. No you cant tell the difference. I know it will fit with the pro kit drop but a 2" drop may have you running a 285 instead, but not sure on that.

in response to 72MachOne99GT...Yeah i am talking about the AFS model wheels. On ebay i found a set of 2 17x9 and 2 17x10.5 with tires for only 1,000!! Pretty cheap.. the tires for the front are 275x40s and the back are 315x35s. sounds like a good deal. i just dont know how low to drop my car. Does the pro kit do much? if anyone has any pics of either i would be glad to see them... thanx

i got the chrome ones from AFS with BFG 315/35/17 on the back and they fit just fine...the picture has 285/40/17 and 255/40/17 in the front

Thanx 66 mustang 04... thats what i needed to know, but is your car lowered at all? and do the 315s still fit inside the wheel well or do they stick out?

i think my car is lowered about 1 1/2 inches, im not too sure because i have cut springs so i dont know the exact height. Ill get you a pic and no they dont rub.
