Default RPM reads 2 at a complete stop!

Hello, I have a 95 Mustang GT.

When I come to a stop, I put the car in neutral and just have my foot on the break. But, the RPM still reads at 2 and it sounds like the car is running the engine very strongly (almost reving the engine). Usually in neutral the RPM reads between 0 and 1. It is very strange - any advice? Anyone have any more info on Auto Zone? Thanks!!!!

I recently had a coil that needed to be replaced. So I had it repaired, but now this problem appeared! Do you think when I had the coil problem fixed, this happened?

mine does that after im on the gas pretty hard, like where we race here theres a stop sign at the end n when i stop the idle is sumtimes stuck at 2100 or 1500 depending on how hard i went i usuallly jus punch on it once real fast n then itll slowly go down but if u acutally wanan fix it it prolly has sumthing to do wit tha iac.
