Default 2003 Mustang problems - rattles & gas mileage

Hope I am posting this in the right area! I have owned my 03 mustang convert since February of this year! Not real happy with it! Two reasons rattles and poor gas mileage.
It is V-6 and I am lucky to get 14 mpg on in town driving. Is this the norm?
Secondly is the rattles, one that drives me nuts is the center area of the dash around the Air Conditioning Vents, that plastic rattles and I don't know how to stop it. The second rattle is the driver side door, again the plastic are that holds the window controls!
Any clues on these issues would be appreciated!!
Thanks

Default I AM DISAPPOINTED IN THIS FORUM

I posted what I thought might recieve some comment, about the rattle and poor gas mileage in my V-6 03 mustang. Not one reply.
I also own a Pontiac G6, posted a problem on the G6 forum and had atleast 15 replies.
