Exclamation My mustang is not backing up!Help please.

Ok so I have a 95 mustang. I was planning on selling it but I'm having a few problems.
The car was working fine before yesterday and now it's not.

I was going to the gym today and i tried backing out of my driveway and the car wasn't budging. It was making a great deal of effort to back out. So I don't know what is going on. Any advice?

First guess would be to check parking brake cables... May be seizing up.

Is it auto or man? Can you move it in neutral?

I had issues of the cables seizing on my 86. I rarely used the e-brake, and when I did, would inevitably stick. The one trick I did (barring replacing) was grabbing hold of the cables and give them some good back and forth movements. This helped release them. Doesnt always work but worth a shot... eventually just replaced them
