K&N Recharger? where to find?
this is a simple enought topic, i cant find it in usual stores, unless im not lookign hard enough
but i (believe) i have the simple k&n air filter,,, (you know the one that gives you up to '25' horses...lol)
and youre supposed to use the 'recharger' kit to clean it,, is this necessary? and if so, wehre can i find it other than ordering it out of magazines?
or if i dont need it, is it just a spray gently and clean thing...
thanks, i havent cleaned that bish yet and im pretty sure it needs it, lol, thats sad

RE: K&N Recharger? where to find?
The filter oil that comes in the kit is VITAL to apply after cleaning the filter out. I'm not sure if any other kinda oil can be substitute for "genuine" K&N oil.
Check any speed shop or autoparts store.. shouldn't be tuff to find

Any parts store that sells K&N filters will have the recharger kits. Go easy and light on reapplying the red oil to the cotton filter element. An over oiled K&N is the subject of a Ford bulletin that links it to intake contamination. End result: replace the MAF and upper O2 sensors. Pep Boys also carries it.
