Ok, deer are dumb animals. I just hit a deer coming home from my friends house, dumb thing crossed in front of me, then went BACK the other way after it realized I was there. So, I slammed on the brakes (last thing I want is it going through the windshield) and still clipped it's butt-end. So after I got home, there's a tuft of fur stuck in between my hood and the body of the car... and sure enough, the right front lip of my hood is bent, and curled inwards towards the car. Amazingly though, the bumper is just fine, with maybe a tiny dent in the plastic.

So now, I had been looking at a new hood, and now I have a good reason to get a new one.
And I'm also getting those bigger brakes I've been wanting... but those require 18" wheels, so it looks like more money saving for me.
Any good brake recommendations? Brembo's are stupidly expensive, so I really don't want to bother with those. Are the brakes from the GT500 any good?
