03-04 cobra seats in a 98 cobra
would that work? i have a 98 cobra and yesterday i rode in my friends G35 and the seats were so comfortable! the thigh and side bolsters felt so tight, i seems like i couldnt go anywhere, and i feel like thats how the cobra should be. im not sure if the 03-04 cobras have adjustable thigh and side bolsters but i think i heard or read some where that they did. i dont really want to get full racing seats, and plus i like the factory seats they look nice to me! so i was wondering if i can get the 03-04 cobra seats to fit my 98 and what i would have to do to make it function properly. i was searching for this topic and i couldnt find it, so sorry if this question was already asked. ohh, do the 01-02 cobras have adjustable thigh and side bolsters too? thanks guys! and sorry if this is was the wrong area to post.

yeah, they will fit just fine. i think the wiring might be diff. im pretty sure they have 6-way movement. i know my 94 only has 4way, not sure about the 98. i have the adjustable thigh bolsters in my 94 as well and they are great since im pretty skinny. im about to get a set of seats out of a 99 though, so i would like to know about the wiring thing as well, cause it would suck to not be able to move the seats.

hah yeah, so the 94 really came with the adjustable thigh bolsters? thats weird how they didnt carry that on to the 96-98 mustangs. why are you trying to get them out of the 99? i heard that 03-04 cobra seats are better. idk why, but they are also a little heavier than our seats..

Cars are prewired for the power seats. Adjustable directions, air inflate etc come from the motor and bracket in the seat, not the car itself.
I ran 03 SVT seats in my 2000 V6 and all features of them worked just fine.

yeah, i know mine have the power seats, but they are only 4 way. i have heard that the wiring harness is different for my seats than for the seats with the 6 way movement.
