Im looking to buy a new car (used). Im stuck between; 2004 mach 1, 2005 mustang gt, 2005 gto, or 2002 camaro ss. In the last 3 years i have owned a 99 z28, 99 mustang gt, 93 lx 5.0 and a 96 gt. Any opinions on the cars that I have chosen? or any other cars. I drive roughly 50 miles a day between work and school and my budget is 14-16k. thanks!

Wow, i guess that really depends on you. How fast do you want to go? The LS1 and LS2 would be awesome if you want a really fast ride.

My buddy has a cammed 06 GTO that puts down close to 450 at the tires, and on spray it's almost 550. Stock bottom end and all. It's a friggin monster lol.

I dont need to go that fast, I just like to have a fast car for that every once in a while. Thats why as of now im leaning towards a mach 1 because I love the sound of mustangs and its quick enough... but then I think of how the ls1 is super quick and the t-56 is such a good transmission.. tough decison haha

I'd have to agree that the Mach sounds the best out of the bunch.

I would chose the Camaro, especially if you found an SS but that is me. Speed, price and aftermarket support give the General the nod.

Considering you said, speed not a priority and sound is a big factor. Yes Mach or 05 GT.
