Default guys i need AC help its 100 + degrees here

ok i have an automatic 97 v6 when i turn on my ac i only get airflow through the defrost vents in the front, the air is still cold so i dont think its the freeon please help im burning up thanks

check for disconnected vacumm lines in the engine compartment by the firewall.

I was thinking the freon but since you don't think its that then I don't know what to tell ya.. I figure if its a 97 you should at least have it checked.

Passenger side floor under dasc there is a junction for the vacuum lines I bet one is out.

In that heat it is best to take your car in for a coolant check and recharge at which time they will hunt down the air duct problem for you. Probably just some sort of vacuum connection as mentioned above. Big difference between cold air flow at 50% charge vs 100% charge. 100+ degrees will really tax your system to the max unless you are at full charge.

yea i am having the exact same issue in my 96 gt if you have figured out what is wrong with yours please let me kow plus i tried to look for that junction under the passenger side dash and found nothing for the lines. any help with it would be appreciated. thanks
