Don't let the dream die!

I don't get much snow down here in Atlanta, but we just had a good storm and I was forced to drive in it, and I got thru it fine. As others have said, it's in the driving more than the car. The people that pretend there is no snow or ice are the meroons that end up crashing. You simply have to slow down and drive more carefully. I have a set of good year round all weather tires on mine (Michelin Sport A/S plus) and they handled the snow fine. Some people prefer to swap tires out for each season as you suggested. But I've found that a quality all year tire rides fine in the summer and gives you a little more confidence in the winter. Of course, it's a compromise, you won't get the best performance in either season, but you get good in both...

this is my first winter with my mustang. doesnt have traction control, but it handled fine as long as you kept moving. stopping then getting moving again is where i ran into problems. also, the smallest inclines seemed like mountains when the snow was packed pretty tight. as long as you know what you're doing you should be fine.
