Default Fumes coming into the car?

OK! so I have the heating issue resolved, now I can barely drive the car for more than 10-15 minutes at a time, there are gas and maybe exhaust fumes coming into the car, and I stink of gas after driving. Now the problem is that the car is running very rich, and probably needs to be due to the high compression etc, I am guessing that at least some if not most of the fumes are entering through holes in the firewall, I way thinking of filling these holes???

Any suggestions on this?

I think it's coming from the caburator or manifold, the pipes are connected fine, there is one exhaust bolt missing, bu besides that nothing.

My Super Bee did that, it turned out that the car was running very rich and the timing was off also. Start with things like float level and the idle air adustments. Also do you have a big cam with lots of overlap? That will make your car stink of raw fuel and exhuast.

Do you think blocking off all the vents, and firewall holes would help? I do have a moderate level street cam, and for sure I am running way rich, and the timing could be of issue.
