Thanks a lot guys! seems I'm getting a bit too worked up over the early shift thing!! Yes, I think the gear will make enough difference to make up for it!! or I can always manual shift!! Thanks again for the great input!! Bob

ya dont even worry about it. it will shift sooner only because with the lower gears, you will get into the higher rpms faster. my tranny shifts at 2500 at soft throttle now with the 3.73's and with the 2.73's. only differnce is with the 3.73's im at a slower speed when this happens. when just cruzing i can be in OD by 40mph. or i can stay on the gas and go past 40mph before even hitting second. its all determined by how much throttle your giving it. with gears or not, my tranny still shifts at 5200 at WOT
