Default Fill in the Front Plate Screw Holes

Hey everyone! I live in CA where front license plates are mandatory, so I had the dealership install the front license plate kit. I went ahead and removed the kit, and will keep the front license plate on hand if needed. I was wondering if there are any special screws or plugs to fill in the holes for the front license plate on the bumper? I would prefer it to be black so it matches my ride.

Thanks!

I think the best you can do, short of buying a new front bumper cover is use some black plastic plugs. It won't look great but it'll look better than two holes...

I been looking around for plugs or black screws and they are no where to be found. So far I have tried autozone and loews. They said my best option is to take the original screw that fills the hole, and spray paint it black.

Ah perfect! I think those would help and probably won't stick out as much as spray painted screws. I was just going to take the original screws, prime them and spray them black.

try small hardware stores. Like Ace Hardware or something ( don't know the names of stores in CA)

Ask for plastic push pins maybe. Or interior plastic pins. They come in different sizes...come in black and "clear" but it more of a white than actually clear.

A auto body shop or body shop supply should have those that are pictured.

Thanks guys! I m actually finally going out to the hardware store to look for these. I keep you guys posted if I have any luck. Worst case scenario is to find a very flat screw with the same threading and spray painting it black.

I found the perfect product that covered up the holes. They sell it at Pep Boys and its called "Panel/Trim Retainers" made by Body-Tite Part #45890. They have a screw threading to them, so I ended up cutting them half ways so its easier to get in. I wasn't looking to secure anything, simply fill the holes. Also I pushed them down and left a little bit of a gap so they can be easily taken out later. Don't want to risk scratching the bumper. These work perfect if anyone else is looking for the samething.
