Thats possible as well although I'm not sure why turning off the ac would make that any better...If it's dirty, it's dirty. But there are good write-ups on how to take off/clean it if you google it. It wouldn't hurt. Check my last post that I edited also^^. I'd take a look at that first because it's something you can do like today. If for no other reason than to rule it out.

Lol, yeah this is my second v6 mustang, I know I shoulda upgraded, but with the r1 I dont' need the speed you know. I am thinking of just replacing the compressor and saying screw it, worse case scenerio I don't have to jack with it for quite a few years.

Well if thats the culprit, sure. I'd definitely track it down sooner rather than later. I had a 94 subaru legacy back in the day that did something similar for about 2 weeks. I never got around to checking it and in my case turned out that the drive pulley bolt had worked its way loose. Needless to say it finally broke off and 1/2 of it got chewed in the motor and killed it. lol I was pissed.

So I went ahead and made a few moves and got the car last night, I drove it for a good 2 hours. It doesn't do it as often when it is warmed up. I talked to a mechanic friend of mine who said that is because I keep creating a vacume that works with the system. So what would happen when it did happen is that I would pull up, normally even sit for a moment and then it would start to shudder, and then shake and the RPMs would dropp from about 800 to 500, then bounce up to about 1200. And just feels horrible like it is going to die, but never does. I am going to take it by AZ at lunch and get the report. I will give an update then. For those who are curious.
