Where can I find the part that the antenna goes into

Ok, So I have an atenna, and I even have the part that the antenna screws into, but i'm missing the base that goes on top of the body that holds it all in place. Where the heck can I find a new one? I can't seem to find a replacement ANYWHERE. Any tips on where to look?

for whatever reason its one of the parts that are removed from the cars before being put out in the junkyard, along with the wheels, rotors, fuses etc. I'm not quite sure what they do with them. i know the rims they pile up for sale, the rotors they ship off to some company. no idea about antenna parts.

I went to newfordparts.com and searched antenna base. I believe thats the part you're looking for.

there may be some precious metals or something in there (small amount of gold or something) and it may be sent to a recycler.

ford dealer can order you any part you need, but it will usually cost a ton. i would get a part number and price from your ford dealer, and shop around for a cheaper one with the part number you get from ford (what the other guy said is probably what you want, but it would suck if you ordered it and its not what you need).
