Loose Door Lock Cylinder...how to fix? 93 mustang
93 mustang....drivers door
The door lock cylinder is loose (can be pulled out about 1/8" if try) i also notice when you open door there is some flat medal piece that had something to do with cylinder...and compared to pass side...(which is fine)...this flat medal piece can be moved around...which on pass side does not....
Is there a nut behind the cylinder? (does this require i remove door panel)?
Could i try just using epoxy (carefully moving cyclinder out the 1/8" and epoxy behind, and clean off any excess and let dry)?
im worried with it loose....that water will get behind and then go down inside door panel...and or stop working (locking/unlocking)...and bit of a pain with it loose using key to open (moves around a bit)

update:
figured it out...
inside door there's a medal clip thing that had become loose...pulled it out,(bent it so would apply more pressure to lock)...siliconed the lock outer ring (so no rain would get in to prevent future rust issues)...reput clip back in...all good now...
