Default 2001 v-6 in 1996 swap

Hello all I have a few ? first the reason my 18 year old daughter just wrecked her 2001 got T-Boned just behind drivers side front tire only had pl pd insurance on it she is fine nobody hurt so all is good she just needs a car. Now I found a 1996 gt with salin package and cobra hood no Motor No trans No rear end and no Back seat. car looks good no rust texas car. will all her drive train swap over? hers has the v-6 with auto trans nothing seems to have been damaged as far as her drive train goes. and what about back seat any chance there. Thanks in advance for any help or advice I need it all 3 weeks till she needs to leave for collage.

You'll need to do a lot of wiring, but it will swap over. The rear axle is a bit wider, which will leave you with a more aggressive stance out back.

Any chance of finding out how much and what I would have to rewire? I can handle all the drive train end but hate electrical lol. or could i some how swap wiring harness.

You'll need more than the underhood harness, you'll need the ECU and related as well. The V8 also uses a different instrument cluster than the V6, so you'll need to account for that as well.

well as much as everyone here might attack me for this I do have a 525 HP chevy 388 stroker setting in shop. We are yet to call to 01 over taking it up to the body shop to see if they can do anything on the fram rack for us.
