Bake and separate Headlight

Has anyone actually been successful in baking and separating their headlight to clean the inside of the lens? Im trying to do this with my OEMs but I dont seem to be heating the sealant enough or something.

Suggestions or point me to a how to, my search didnt come up with much success

Why would the inside be dirty?

THe lights arent completely sealed and water gets inside. ive tried a restore kit to the outside and no luck, so my issue must be on the inside

I did it on my wrx. DO NOT over bake them, if you do then you will have hairline star fractures all through it. You can get something to reseal it from walmart most of the time or an autoparts store. But for the price you can get our lights i would honestly invest in new ones. saves time with redoing them or possibly messing them up or problems down the road. and then you can always sell the ones you have now

I have a set of aftermarkets on my car right now. Id just like to see if I can clean the OEM ones. How long did you bake your WRX ones at and at what temperature?
