Is there a year that has fully reclining driver seat?
Im in the need for a different car and ive saved up enough to get somthing fairly decent. I wanted focus but some how got side tracked and wanted a mustang. Today i looked at a nice 04 but when i went to get in i found it isnt going to work for me now.
Im a T12 parapaligic in a wheelchair so there are a few things on a car that i need in order to drive it. Auto, 2 doors and in order to get my chair in the car myself i have to recline the seat all the way back to drag it in over me to either put it into the passanger seat or the back seats. Well i found out today the 04 i really have my heart set on doesnt have thsi option. Maybe because its a power seat? Power up and down back and forth.
Do any of these have a fully reclining seat? or do i need to start looking at a different brand and model? I had a Dodge daytona for about 15 years with a fully reclining seat and it workd great for years. Ide hate to have to get somthing else just because of somthing stupid like this.

on the manual reclining seat you can drill out a rivet that prevents the seat from reclining. its there so your front seats dont rub on the back seat (i have it done in mine).
the how-to i believe is in one of the stickies in general, 4.6, or general 4.6. if its not PM me and ill get it for you.
nvm here you go.

you can try printing off this how-to and take it to the dealership with you. if you have every intention on buying this car, they know you are approved to buy it, and you have agreed on a price, they may be willing to drill it out for you to test it if thats the only thing stopping you from buying the car since its nothing life changing on the car.
