Just like the title implies I am very curious as to how you install posi trac in a 7.5 rear end with 3.73 gears the correct way. I heard many stories about how even shops mess up peoples gear when installing them. I am very mechanically inclined guy but I figure if a mechanic can mess it up there must be some kind of trick. CAN ANYONE HELP ME OUT?

There are lots of articles in print and on the web on installing gears.Just search some out for background on the process. Like anything else the trick is experience and attention to detail. Getting the set up right usually involves putting in some trial and error time until it is right. A sloppy or less experienced installer who doesn't put in the required effort isn't going to get an optimum setup and you'll end up with gear whine at best and premature wear at worst.
