HELP! 2001 mustang gt wierd vibration? and snow tires
Hi I have a 2001 red mustang gt and when I gradually accelerate to about 30mph, right before 2000 rpm there's this really wierd vibration sound in the rear by the wheels, it only does this at about 1800 rpm and then stops someone please tell me what this is! also I have street tires on and it snowed 3 inches today and like I thought my mustang would slide...alot I'm thinking about snow tires, now exactly how much of a difference does this make?
please help, thanks

Does it make that vibration at any other speeds/RPM? What gear are you in?
Also, snow tires will make a decent difference, then add weight to your trunk to create traction(sand bagging) helps too.

Try rotating the rear wheels to the front.. does the noise/vibration now happen up front?
And yes snow tires make a MASSIVE difference! My '02GT would barely move at all in winter without them. Also, get some cheap stamped steel rims with the snow tires, that saves your summer rims from winter damage.
