A couple of things that need fixin
Hey guys I have a 2007 V6 and there are a couple things that need to be fixed.
1) When I turn on the air or heat on the vents there is a thumping noise in my dash that lasts for about 10 seconds and then goes away. I am having no problems with my air/heat working and it never does it when set to floor or defrost. It never fails, anytime I turn it on it happens.
2) My passenger side window is loose and rattles a lot. I know that rattles are to be expected with the subs being in the doors, but this window is way too loose. You can actually move it back and forth about 1/2-3/4 of an inch.
I don't want to have to take it to Ford or anywhere else unless I have to because I'm low on money. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Then look here..one of the small actuators. A search for ¨HVAC noise¨ will likely give you an exacting match otherwise. Likely someone has had the same problem.
#2, can´t really help much, although likely, again, that a targeted search will give you the answer before someone who knows can respond. Likely you can remove the door panel and just tighten down whatever is actually holding the window in place, and/or guiding it.
