Default My Roush M90 is making horrible noise.

I own a 2006 Mustang GT with the M90 Roush upgrade. I started hearing marbles grinding against each other within the Super Charger. I parked my Mustang. Can anyone help me? The Super Charger is so expensive, I do NOT want to buy a new one, I want to repair it. It sounds like the bearings are going, but I do not know. Is this a common problem with the Super Charger?

Thanks

Dale.

wow, you may have couple of issues you might want to think about, you mightve forgot to add/check/change oil in the blower case, either way, I would call Roush and ask them for recommendations for repair, but keep in mind, if the bearings went out and caused the rotors to hit the case, etc. then you are most likely better changing out the unit, the other thing is, if the rotors was rubbing the case etc. then the metal shavings had to go somewhere....stop driving it, take it apart or to a mechanic, look for metal into the intake ports, etc.

I'm gonna agree. Sounds like an oil issue in the snout.

Yup. Even if it was oiled the bearings can still fail for a variety of other reasons, particle contamination in the oil, too much belt tension etc. Definitely do not drive it though, and get it checked out.
