Calibrating boost gauge

Calibrating boost gauge
Ive got the aeroforce interceptir gauge an the boost sensor & I've put the proper slope and intercept in it as the instructions say but for some reason when my car is off but ignition on I'm still getting a reading Of -9. In the instructions it says if it is off then to adjust it by that amount but it only talks about small .004 of an adjustment. Not 9. It describes how Denver co may be 1.5 off so there is no reason I should be reading 9 unless I'm at the top of mount everest. :P
Any help here is appreciated

Are you reading this information out on the analog input of your interceptor? I'm assuming you are using their boost sensor. You are positive you have a 5V source for your sensor? The white wire on your sensor is the information wire that you solder onto the white wire that plugs into the analog port. The red wire on your sensor needs to be attached to a 5V regulated source. I suggest using their 5V DC regulator. The black wire goes to ground. Now for the slope and intercept. What is the intercept # you are using?
I have an aeroforce and I decided to use a mechanical vacuum/boost gauge (Procharger) and use one analog port for fuel pressure.

Based on the numbers you are providing me, it appears you may have entered the intercept as the slope and the slope as the intercept. The intercept number in a chart is where the line crosses the Y axis. The X axis would be zero psi. If your intercept is 9 that is why you are getting a reading of -9 at zero psi. The two readings define the linear curve that makes up the vacuum / boost vs sensor output.
Also, are you using the 5V regulated power supply? You shouldn't trust any other sensor to be a constant 5V.
If I am wrong, then I suggest you contact aeroforcetech.com and run this by them. They are very helpful.
