One of the face book responses said that the cop told the guy not to do it again earlier and arrested him when he did.
Doing a burnout with that many people around is extreemly dangerous.
Just be gald its a video of a cop arresting a guy and not a video of someone getting hurt.

Just going by the video, how do we know he got arrested? because he was pulled from the car and cuffed? That doesnt mean he was arrested, just that he was detained for the purpose of investigation. How do we know he wasnt taken back to the patrol vehicle to be issued a summons and then released.
Plus what we was doing is an arrestable offense as its considered reckless driving

Someone had to be made an example of there IMO. He just happened to be the unlucky recipient. As previously stated, that can get out of hand fast, and someone could have gotten a front bumper enema.
As to a should have been given a "warning", flashing police lights nearby too subtle?

I'm a person if principle, if he got arrested, everyone should of been arrested that did a burn out. I'm supprised those officers made it out too. 2 cops vs 100s of racers, now that would of been a video.
Edit: just saw 2 more vids. Why'd they have to pull the tow truck driver back? And why'd they shut the whole event down?
