Is it a crack or are you missing a piece of plastic? We sometimes use a plastic welder or epoxy to repair the crack or hole, then duraglass and prime. But most aftermarket bumpers are cheap through. If your looking at one of those check Keystone automotive, astro auto or POY and ask for CAPA CERT. ( THEY FIT RIGHT ) They should be local to you and you won't have to pay freight. Try a local shop at well. Jobbers get large discounts, and could pass some of the savings on to you, that includes OEM.Either way , no freight....

No its a hole the size of a golf ball but the piece that got knocked away to make that hole is still hanging on, its not like barely hanging on either. So I dunno if it can be fixed?

Sounds like it can be fixed. When you bring It to a shop to check. Ask them HOW they plan to fix it. If they tell you"fill it " or Bondo . It won't last. It needs to be plastic welded with the same material or epoxied first. This way it won't shrink and show after painting.Repair time(Hole only ) shouild be around 1.5/hr @ $45/hr around here. On the hand, if they tell you they can get a new one cheap, you may want to consider it.Even though it will cost you a LITTLE more. Keep your old one, it's OEM. The shop needs to be a collision repair shop, not a guy renting a 2 stall.

Price will depend on the shop. All body labor should be estimated using Mitchell crash guides. With it all cost are laid out for everyone , except repair time. Therfore , Replacement would be the same labor as repairing + the 1.5 repair the hole. It should be cheaper to repair it,( no bumper cost ) and your color match is not at risk because they will only have to paint the repaired area. Then clear the whole bumper.
OEM is Original Equipment Manufacture. In your case, Ford. A Ford bumper will cost twice as much as Aftermarket. But the Ford product will be made better and fit better.A Aftermarket Capa Certified bumper is good though. This product would be used to repair a collision ( provided it is available for the given make and model ) when your insurance company is paying for it.

im not sure if this site is legit but some of their bumpers are oem and painted.
http://www.bumpers.com/productFord.html

$279.00 for a bumper and painted seems like a deal.

Read the fine print. You may have fitment problems and color match issues....
Specifically the legal statements
http://www.bumpers.com/Legal.html

They are using low quaility aftermarket and salvaged parts. Salvaged, like repaired and painted like you may do.
I would also ask about shipping. It may be truck freight because of the size. Good prices though. Might be worth a shot? Or find a shop you can trust..... In the end you will be happier, and you may form a relationship you will need in the future...

thx

You dont need to replace the rocker. I was just pointing out that it was only $500.00 for both on my sons mustang(paint and install only). And it was the exact color you needed.
He bought both the parts on bumpers.com. They were freighted to us on a pallet, but the shipping was not too bad. I think around $70.00. The bumper was good condition when it arrived and it fit perfectly. I would assume the paint and install should only be around $300.00 for just the bumper. Bumpers.com didnt have that color when we ordered. That was about 5 months ago.
