Default 1994 Cobra or 1998 GT convertible?

I'm trying to make up my mind between 2 ponies. A 1994 black Cobra and a black 1998 GT convertible. Both have a very close nada value. I can get the 94 Cobra for $3,500 and the 98 GT convertible for $2,000. The 98 is an automatic and the Cobra a standard. Both have leather interior. I like both and kind of lean toward the 98 GT convertible but have really wanted a Cobra. What do you think?

I'm on my 2nd vert, they're awesome!!! If U live in a place that lets you drop the top often then that makes it a serious contender

My vote is for the cobra, but loose those tail lights.

Cobra, but like dragul said find non-crappy tuner tail-lights. Also, the look of all black cars with chromed out wheels is pretty sweet in my opinion...sell those wheels and get some nice chrome cobras.

I say Cobra and lose the taillights. The GT looks like its been slammed to the weeds and then beaten on to me.

Cobra! I'm not a fan of convertibles myself. Plus keep the Cobra for forty or fifty years and it might be worth something.

Well a little more searching and I've found the best of both. A 1998 Cobra convertible for about the same price as the 98 cobra was.
