Default speed spicific rattle after compleate new drivetrian installed

my car has a rattle at about 60mph it gets worse with speed, i have had a new rear end installed, driveshaft reballanced, new gears and rear end stuff done, upper lower control arms from steeda instaled have there springs and shocks also, and just stuck in a tremec tko 600 and after all of that and around 5,000 later i still have a rattle at the same speed, i think dont have a speedo instaled in the tremec yet it is being shiped. also i got a newbellhousing and flywheel, they told me the flywheel was not balanced and they took my billit one out and put back in a stock one and it did nothing, also the old trany was disconnected from the driveshaft and there was still a rattle if anyone has an idia pleasehelp me

If the rattle still happens with the driveshaft disconnected then it's in the engine. How about the motor and/or transmission mounts? You don't say whether it's something you can feel or just something you hear.It could also be a loose heat shield on the exhaust or the exhaust pipe itself.

No, this is a intense rattle that comes on at about 50-60 mph. A rattle that vibrates the entire car badly. You can definately feel it. Motor and tranny mounts have all been changed, was the first thing i tried to fix. It is definately not the exhaust.

The shop i took the car too, took off the drive shaft, then ran the car throught the gears and the shake/shimmy/rattle came at the same time ~60mph.

It is present in 3rd 4th and 5th (the worst), but goes away over 3,900rpm's in 5th. Shops have got no clue, and only did we do the drive shaft test after I had put on the parts, (which i was gona do most anyway, just not over the last month or two.)

Major kudos to anyone who had got any clue, could this be an intrnal engine problem?? Car runs excelent, idles good, no signs of vibration or anything at idle/1st gear and 2nd.

B.T.W. this is an 94 Gt, with full exhaust, tko600, full steeda suspension, full cage, new harmonic balancer, 3.73's/posi. Driveshaft rebalanced twice.

Does this rattle still come in with the clutch pushed in?If not,the bellhousing or transmission could be out of alignment. If it does, could it be the new harmonic balancer.

I would look at the Harmonic balancer, then the flywheel. If either is even the slightest out of balance, it will cause the drivetrain to shimmy.

Have you checked all the tires to make sure there is no bubbles in them on the sidewalls or that they have a bent rim or something??Always start in the simple places when looking for a shake or rattle and eliminate them first

new Harmonic balancer and it does do it when the clutch is pushed in, still does the rattle with the driveshaft disconnected, one of the rims is bent but it was moved to the front and was put on a lift and with the tires not on the ground it still rattles at the same rpm, also a new stock clutch was put in and my billit aluminum was taken out and it did not fix anything, so im going to ask the shop to put it back in

Is it a noise or a vibration.If it's a noise then something's loose.

it is not a noise it is a vibration, a very very bad one at that, when it is at its worse it is about as louse as a jl 12w7 with a jl 1/1000 amp on max just playing the same note, it does not sound like somethng that is hitting somthing it is more like the whole car is rattling , from what i can tell i think it is comming from the tranny but i just replaced the tranny and it is making the same rattle in the same speed as my last tranny
