Default Major vibrations from 45-65+ 2005 8cyl

Anyone out there experience a major vibration not only in the steering wheel but feeling in your seat as well. Normally starts at about 45mph and on up, but is interitant. When this vibrations hits at high speeds seems vital to the safety operation of this 2005 mustang 8 cyl which is still only stock at this point.

Dealer has replaced the Pirelli tires compete set 3 times now and they are not out of round. However with no recall in order the dealer is reluctant to take further looks into the suspension as well as the drive train. Possibly even structural defect, maybe loose and not bolted down properly.

Any feed back is greatly appreciated.

Reluctant? On an 05? Go to a different ford dealer. Im experiencing a similar problem on my 2003. Shaky wheel at about 50-60...overal shake from 50-70...pulls to tjhe right. Im inclideed to replace the front two rotors and brake pads since mine shakes while braking.

This is indeed a safety issue.A brand new car should have NO defects and you might be looking at a lemon law situation.Document with reciepts and work orders everthing the dealer tells you. This sounds like something loose in the front end but it could be in the drive train also. When this vibration starts does it quit as soon as your speed drops below a certain point of does it just fade away as you slow down?Does it start abruptly or does it just get more noticeable as your speed rises? Can you duplicate the problem for the service manager? The next time they stone wall you ask them if the driver or an innocent passenger were to get killed because of this defect, what would a JUDGE think of this.Vibrations like this usually are caused by several things being just inside of certain dimensional tolerances. When added together they come up with too much free play in the entire system.

Three attempted fixes and nothing is solved, I believe they have one last opportunity to fix it otherwise the Lemon Law works in your favor and they will give you your money back.

I wouldn't even look into it now, I'd fight for the Lemon Law and just get into a new 05 or 06 GT.

I agree whole heartedly.Start the process and get a new car.Who wants a car with this kind of MAJOR problem, even if they get it fixed.

Wait a sec. The dealer is reluctant to REPAIR a potential SAFETY issue? [sm=jawdrop.gif][sm=wtf.gif] DEMAND to talk to Ford's area representitive IMMEDIATLY! If they can't repair it, DEMAND a new car. This is what warranties are all about! If this doesn't work, hire an attorney and SUE THE F**K OUT OF THEM! I used to work for a Volvo dealer, and I found, the louder you get,(in front of other customers, and potential customers) the more you get!
