Default Traction control on and a ton of wheel spin?

Dry conditions and Im not that agressive as I have been driving Jeep wranglers for 10 years nothing fast about them. This car is trying to get sideways alot. Isnt traction control supposed to keep that from happening? First mustang, sorry.

TC just lessens the amount, it won't necessarily stop it. I do it all the time in my 03 with the TC on, except I do it on purpose.

Don't let TC give you a false sense of security. Like mentioned, it lessens the slippage by cutting the power to the wheels but doesn't stop it. That is why if you want to do a burn out, you should turn it off. TC wont keep you from slipping off the road either. If you keep unintentionally spinning, either learn to feather the throttle or get better tires that grip more effectively.
