OFF, have you ever gotten your traction control to come on before?

yea sometimes when I hit the gas 2 hard in a race it goes on automatically...is that a good thing?? it slows me down when that happens also

It's not good when your racing....If you power shift it'll activate it for a couple seconds at a time and slow you down a ridiculous amount. </P>


I had mine on at the track once, activated all 3 gears &amp; I still ran 14.9 LOL, which happened to be my quickest run that night with my bald tires!! Best time was 13.8@104 . </P>

Well i had just posted the same question in the 4.6 fourm, and most of the replies. Was that it is better to turn it off when your racing.</P>

My girl in Vegas has aauto 00 Trans Am and we spent all night one time just trying to get those tires to break lose..... Theres not a way to turn the traction control off on it..... So we finally came to this light where there was a bit of water so she tried and they broke free for like half a turn lol then all of a sudden we see cherries behind us we were laughing so hard... The cop was askin us what we were doin cause we were all alone on the street and we couldnt stop laughing to tell him so he issued her a racing on highways ticket!! WTF we werent racing, and the tires barely even made a chirp they didnt even do a full turn.....
